A song by the Scouting for Girls once said Elvis isn't dead

                                                                                            and damn right they are. Elvis may have passed out quite some time ago but his influence in contemporary music, lit even, style and in this case I want to emphasize dance. The hip movement, Elvis was an innovator, he is to the day one to the celebrities with the highest number of impersonators.

For instance there is a 50s rock n´roll dance5 group that gathers in Yogogi Park in Harajuku, Toky, you can see how this influence is present.
