Let it be, at times it seems this is vastly misinterpreted
A well known song by the Beatles says ¨Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be. ¨
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be. ¨
It is very interesting how many, MANY, people go with the song, and "agree". The thing is:
Some people say .just let it be. the thing is that the only way that they want it to let it be, is their way.
The epitome that breaks with this saying is the idea of dictatorship. Which have been present in a past and in the present, disguised with different labels, comes in different shades and colors but can be found all around.
How I define dictatorship: the idea that only one idea is correct, that only one perception is true.
THIS IS S:H:I:T (sorry for my language but it is quite true).
Dictatorships in politics, in style, in fashion, music, ettiquete, morals, lifestyle...and the list goes on and on.
To let it be, is to be aware of the fantastic variety that exists in our world, in our society. To be aware that one is unique, not because of genetics, but because each individual has its own perception, has its own living, and that is the honey in the jar we call life.
I will not whisper words of wisdom, I would much rather shout them for the world to hear. LET IT BE. It is a matter of respect, respect to individualism. One must understand that one is not always right, and in order to let it be, one must respect the way others are. Letting it be, is not about being one way or another, but respecting how the other is and mantaining how one is. Respecting life experiences and what such have created of each individual. Try to see the world through some one elses shades, using your own eyes. Then will you understand, what it means to, let it be.

bulbs bulbs, bulbs within bulbs
(background photo by me, superimposed)
Ingo Maurer, his work is well known, this was the his first design, his first lamp, and definitely my favorite of all of his work. I must admit I have somewhat of a fascination with light bulbs.

TAKE ME TO JAPAN, aunque solo coma pan
Three are the places I would like to live in the most, Paris, Capadocia, and Tokyo. It is a dream of mine to be a nomad some day, but in those three places I would spend more time than in other locations. Yes, I am a day dreamer and a night dreamer, I am simply a dreamer.
What comes to my mind when I hear this word (Japan) is. where i belong. so many elements present in japanese fashion and street style, a sense of present futurism, that I can relate my work to, from materials such as plastic, to ludic elements, and the intense mixture of color and texture.
It is freshness all over the place, it is taking fashion to a new level, having fun with it and making more, more, leaving behind the annoying cliche that less is more.
To the left is Mademoiselle Yulia, a japanese dj. I like her style, in that photo it is quite casual but with a touch of funkiness. I LOVE the blue hair, the red lips, and the overall look. I would love to live in Japan, there one may dress however one really wants to without hearing gasps and being stared at like in Mexico. Perhaps one of these days I will go live there.

In love to the bones...
Ricado Tisci for Givenchy, defenitely one of favorite of all fall high couture until now. From the neutralish color palet to the embroided details, it is sophisticated, detailed, and unique. Inspired by human bone structure, Mr.Tisci deslumbrtated my eyes with his latest work. The jacket in the first photograph is what I dreamed off last night, isn't it gorgeous? I could even braid it jaja.

WHAT IS BEAUTY?
Reading Tolstoy's What is art?
It says:
"...the object of aesthetic knowledge is Beauty. Beauty is the Perfect (the absolute), recognized through the senses....the aim of beauty itself is to please and excite a desire".(chapter III pg. 17)
I tend to agree and disagree. For me beauty is something else than perfection. Beauty may not be a general applied term. I consider beautiful the unique and bizarre. What I consider perfect is imperfection. That is what pleases and excites a desire in me.
Just cared to share a bit of what has been on my mind this morning.
fly me off to the moon, in a giant pink balloon
If i was to get on a space ship and fly off to the wonders of space. these are some of the shoes i would take with me. space, it is something that intrigues me so very much. it inspires me and makes me ponder for hours. when choosing my space shoes i created this idea of where in space i would take them with me. the alienesque mcqueens. to a date at the space lab jaja. miumiu.s at lunch at the star bar, the dsquared2.s to the moon concert, balenciaga.s for my daily moonwalk. chandelier prada.s to dine at the milkyway gala.
